Vital Mental Health is pleased to offer clinical consultations and supervision services for licensed and pre-licensed Minnesota therapists. Our consultation sessions and mentorship opportunities provide a professional space for you to discuss client cases, ethical questions, and/or treatment strategies with a seasoned, licensed supervisor.

ABOUT CLINICAL CONSULTATIONS

Our clinical consultations are designed to help licensed and pre-licensed therapists in Minnesota get the real-time, professional guidance and mentorship they need to excel in their career. Each clinical consultation session is 60 minutes and is available both virtually or in-person at our Roseville, MN office. Sessions can be scheduled as needed.

During a clinical consultation session, you'll have the opportunity to discuss your cases, work through clinical challenges or ethical dilemmas, and receive mentorship support from a board-approved supervisor. Your consultation will focus on practical, supportive solutions and professional guidance so you have the insights and perspective you need to navigate your career with ethical excellence and prestige.

Please note: All consultation support is provided via in-session communication. We do not offer notes, do pre-session case reviews, or provide written feedback.

Please note: Adam Wick, LPCC, LADC-S, CSAT (Vital Mental Health founder) only provides consultation and supervision services for therapists who are not employed by Vital Mental Health, PLLC. Clinicians employed by Vital Mental Health, PLLC will work with contracted licensed supervisors to ensure clarity, professional boundaries, and an independent consultation experience.
CONSULTATION VS SUPERVISION

What's the difference?

Consultation

Focused, one-off, or ongoing support for clinical questions, ethical dilemmas, or case guidance — all of which occurs during a 60-minute session. No follow-up required.

Supervision

Typically structured toward licensure requirements, involving observation, documentation, and evaluation in addition to session guidance.

Both services are delivered by licensed, experienced supervisors who are trained in trauma-informed and evidence-based psychotherapy approaches.

During your complimentary 15-minute discovery call we'll discuss your needs and help you determine whether our approach and service offerings align with your clinical needs and professional goals.

We offer supervision and consultation services both online and in-person at our Roseville, MN office. Consultation fees range from $100–$250 per 60-minute session, depending on the provider.

We currently offer a free hybrid consult group every 4th Monday at 11am. This group is for therapists to bring cases, think through treatment planning, and get input from other clinicians working with complex presentations. Much of the work in our practice involves addiction, betrayal trauma, couples work, and EMDR-informed care, but the group is not limited to those areas.

Many of us work in private solo or small group practices where group consultation is sparse. We believe in the benefit of group consultation, so if you're in need of some support, please reach out.
